MedDoseHub dose-reference hub with mg tables and titration arrows

Pick a room

Three shelves. Jump to the molecule you need - each page keeps a stable MDH code for citations.

Heart & fluids

A loop diuretic whose oral dose can fail exactly when patients are sickest - and why the bathroom scale beats the lab for tracking it.

Guides worth the read

Five dose-focused reads for questions bigger than a single tablet.

What you get in every page

Most prescribing mistakes are arithmetic - milligrams confused with micrograms, weight left out of the equation. We build each page around the numbers you calculate at the bedside: mg/kg, intervals, max daily dose, and the toxicity threshold that ends the calculation.

Free dosing reference. No industry sponsors, no checkout link. Brand names mark which salt we mean, nothing more.

We pull the dose rows from the label first, then sanity-check them against peer-reviewed tables. Any calculator or timeline here exists because a wrong unit could hurt someone.

Country-specific dosing differences get a separate line item - prednisolone taper schedules vary, and we say when the US label is the outlier.

Label revisions override our tables on publication day. Treat this site as a worksheet, not the order sheet.

Each drug page starts from a different tray rule - food, QT, weight, milligrams, or a daily-versus-PRN split - then walks the label facts that belong on that card.

Five guides handle the questions that span more than one pill - how the ED drugs work as a class, how to choose between them, why ED is an early heart warning, how water pills actually work, and how to take steroids without getting burned.

Drugs live under /drugs/. Guides under /guides/. The people who check the pages are on /doctors/.

Every page carries a stable MDH code, so a citation in a syllabus or a note will not rot when we refresh a number.

PDE5 pills plus any nitrate can drop blood pressure dangerously. That warning is on every ED page for a reason - it is the one interaction you cannot fudge.
